Embracing Confidence: A Creative Journey with Oleles and Dreamy Boo

I’m excited to share my latest collaboration with Oleles, a brand that focuses on women’s wear and skincare products. Recently, we teamed up to launch their new collection, "Dreamy Boo" — a line of nubra designed to empower women. Along with the launch, Oleles also moved into a brand-new office, which provided us with a beautiful space to create an exhibition-style display of my artwork.

The exhibition space, as seen in the photo above, became a canvas for storytelling. It’s a collaboration I didn’t hesitate to join, especially since I’ve known Mia, one of Oleles’ co-founders, for quite some time. When she approached me with the idea, I jumped in without much thought because sometimes, you just have to say yes to something that feels right.

However, as the project started, I’ll admit, I felt a bit nervous. It had been a while since I last curated an exhibition like this, and there’s always that pressure of telling a story through art. The challenge was to bring both our brands’ visions together in a meaningful way.

During our initial meetings, we discussed the idea of having suspended artwork—something I had never done before. Naturally, I had concerns about whether it would work, but we pushed through, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results.

One of my favorite pieces is a landscape artwork made from old clothes, cut and glued together to create texture. It was modeled after one of Oleles' muses, and the process was deeply satisfying. The use of fabric felt personal and fitting for a brand that focuses on women’s wear.

Another piece that holds special meaning to me depicts a woman looking at herself in the mirror while trying on a dress. This piece is more than just a drawing — it represents confidence, something every woman needs to find within herself. It’s called "The Art of Confidence." I spent a lot of time adding tiny details into the painting, including Oleles' pillow, merchandise, shopping bags, and products from their skincare line, making it a celebration of both inner and outer beauty.

Of course, I couldn’t resist incorporating my signature elements. Two of the artworks feature preserved flowers, which remain one of Little Luna Studio’s specialties. The mix of media — from flowers to lace — brought a textured, layered feel that added depth to the collection.

As a mother who has just gone through the journey of breastfeeding, my connection with my feminine body has deepened. I now hold an entirely different respect for our bodies, and I see this strength reflected in the "Dreamy Boo" collection. There is a new confidence I’ve gained, different from the confidence of youth. Now, it’s a confidence built on experience, motherhood, and the understanding of what our bodies can achieve.

I hope this collection and exhibition inspire women to embrace their confidence at every stage of life. This is just the beginning of our collaboration, and I look forward to sharing more stories and creative projects in the future.

Stay tuned, and follow along as we continue to share more behind-the-scenes moments on our blog and Instagram.

With love,
Limzy
